Joseph Samuel Cromer

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Joseph Samuel Cromer, age 81, of Ellaville, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 at his daughter’s residence in Bonaire, GA. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Sand Bethel Church Cemetery in Rupert, Georgia.   Bro. Andy Anderson will officiate.

      Mr. Cromer was born May 19, 1934 in Schley County, GA to Charlie and Vera Cromer. He

worked at Champion Home Builders in Ellaville for many years and later owned an upholstery shop in Oglethorpe, GA.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Mr. Cromer was an active member of Montezuma Church of God of Prophecy.

    Survivors include one son, Donnie Cromer (Starla Neely) of Smithville, TN; one daughter, Lisa Salter (Earl) of Bonaire, GA; two brothers, Raymond Cromer of Ellaville, Gene Cromer (Linda) of Mauk, GA; two sisters, Lois Underwood of Atlanta, GA and Verna Mae White of Americus, GA. Mr. Cromer was also survived by one grandchild, Brittany Salter and one great grandchild, Dakota Lee Hootman.

      Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
