Joyce Nadine Monday

Joyce N. Monday,76, passed away on April 15, 2015 at her residence in Columbus, GA.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM.  The family will greet friends on Sunday starting at 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Buena Vista Cemetery.

Mrs. Monday was born October 8, 1938 to the late Felton Forsyth and Mabel Culpepper Forsyth     in Marion County, GA.  She was a member of the Assembly of God.  Mrs. Monday loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was an avid reader.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Williams. 

Survivors include five daughters, Vickie Wolfe (Mark), Angie Duncan (Will), Melanie Williams, Penny Williams and Pam Williams, all of Columbus, GA; a brother, Paul Forsyth of Ellaville, GA; three sisters, Louise Carlile of Pine Mountain, GA, Barbara Phillips of Columbus, GA and Frieda Harris of Richland, GA; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
