ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Judy H. Coleman, 75, of Oglethorpe, GA, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Canterbury Health Care Facility in Phenix City, AL. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Roy Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery, 1751 Mt. Sinai Road, Doerun, GA. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Coleman was born November 7, 1943 in Doerun, GA to the late John and Zula Harrell. She had worked as a meat cutter. Mrs. Coleman enjoyed fishing, cooking, puzzles, game shows and gospel music. She was a member of Still Water Chapel.
Survivors include one son, William L. Coleman Jr. and wife Erica of Woodstock, GA; three daughters, Robin Bankston and husband Mark of Seale, AL, Lisa Evans and husband Wesley of Oglethorpe, GA, Lynn Erwin and husband William of Oglethorpe, GA; and one brother, Frank Harrell and wife Evelyn of Camilla, GA. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband, William Coleman, Sr. and granddaughter, Lauren Yaughn.
Pallbearers will include Blake Thomason, Brad Thomason, Wesley Dowdy, Joseph Coleman, Nathan Daniels and Cayden Thomason.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital or the American Lung Association.
Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
