Mrs. Julia “Judy” Fuller Williams, 68, of Buena Vista, GA, died Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the Medical Center in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at New Providence Baptist Church with Reverend David Chapman and Reverend Brad Parker officiating. Burial will follow the service in New Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church from 2:00 PM until the start of the service at 3:00PM. Serving as active pallbearers will be Matthew Mirtes, Chris Mirtes, Jason Wade, Josh Miller, Caleb Miller, Kerry Fuller, Gerald Fuller, J. J. Fuller, Nathan Fuller, and Alan Fuller.
Mrs. Williams was born February 15, 1944, in Talbot County, GA, to Alton and Paige Wiggins Fuller. Baptist by faith, she was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. She owned and operated Buena Vista Floral & Gift and was a member of the Beautiful View Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Mack Williams, and by a sister, Anita Currington.
She is survived by two sons, Horace & Valentina Williams and Mark & Lynn Williams, and a daughter, Susan & Rusty Everett, all of Buena Vista; by four brothers, Jerry & Kathy Fuller of Talbotton, GA, Terry & Maria Fuller of Talbotton, GA, Perry & Emily Fuller of Sylvester, GA, Jeff & Gayle Fuller of Box Springs, GA; five sisters, Janie & Ed Mirtes of Tullahoma, TN, Sue & Jim Parker of Geneva, GA, Patricia & Ray Bush of Phenix City, AL, Lynda & John Miller of Mauk, GA, Vicki & Bobby North of Geneva, GA. Nine Grandchildren, Kari & Shane Grier, Jared Seth & Joy Williams, Noah Horace Williams, Daniel Everett, Brandon Everett, Lauren Everett, Mark Chase & Molly Williams, Chadwick Alton Williams, Chelsey Paige Williams, and three great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Williams, Hannah and Harley Grier also survive.
Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of these arrangements.
