Julia Hudson

Ms. Julia Hudson, age 87, of Buena Vista, GA, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Columbus Hospice House.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 2:00 PM at County Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion Co. with Reverend Bo Curlee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, May 13 from 6:00 – 8:00PM

Ms. Hudson was born August 23, 1925, in Chattahoochee County, GA to Lucius and Effie Sinns Turner. She worked in the lunchroom at Marion Co. High School and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hudson, three sons, Richard Hudson, Jr., Wayne Hudson, and Roland Belton Hudson.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda McAllister of Buena Vista, GA, three sons Harold Randy Hudson of Taylor Co., Bennie Lee Hudson of Box Springs, GA, and Terry Eugene Hudson of Dooly Co., one sister, Kathryn Hudson of Box Springs, GA, one brother, Alva Turner of Pleasant Hill, CA.  Ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and friends from Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Buena Vista also survive. 

Pallbearers will include Brad Hudson, Barry Hudson, Todd Hudson, Charles Fuller, Curtis Dent, and Brad Bodrey.
