Julie Christine Hannaford

Ms. Julie Christine Hannaford, age 89, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA.  A visitation service will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, Ga.  A service and burial will follow in the Gary, Indiana on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
       Ms. Hannaford was born May 3, 1923  in Cordele, GA the daughter of Katie Lorraine Oliver Hardin and Rufus Hardin.  She was a retired nurse.  Her hobbies included quilling and painting.  She was a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints.
    Survivors include three daughters, Kay Schultz (Bruce) of Norfolk, VA, Inez Streetman (Boyette) of Ellaville, GA and Shirley Miller (Abe) of Ellaville, GA; two sons, John (Sonny) Vanzant (Faye) of Thomasville, GA and Earnest Vanzant of Gary, IN, two sisters, Katie Kuntarch (Lewie) of Gary, IN and Patsy Frisby (Ray) of Wyoming.   Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.  Ms. Hannaford was preceded in death by her husband, Ramie Hannaford, one grandchild, Tammy Schultz,  one great grandchild, Jonathan Streetman.
          Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
