Ken Whitley

Ken P. Whitley, 68, of Buena Vista, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at his residence.

A memorial service was held at 11:30 AM on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Moore's Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Terry Hudson officiating.

Mr. Whitley was born July 12, 1943, in Butler, Georgia, to Talmadge Whitley and Louise Christopher Whitley. He was self-employed as a carpenter. He was Baptist by faith and had served in the National Guard. He had previously lived in Decatur, GA and Welaka, FL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Whitley.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Randi Ives of Republic, Missouri, and by three grandchildren, Brooke Ives of Locust Grove, GA, Aaron Ives of Nixa, Missouri, and Ashton Ives of Republic, Missouri.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these arrangements
