Kerry Royle-Spears

Mrs. Kerry Royle-Spears, 55, of Ellaville, GA passed away at her residence on April 5, 2024. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 12:00 PM in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary Gill officiating.  The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville on Saturday from 9:00-11:00AM. 

Kerry was born December 29, 1968, in Donalsonville, GA to Dallas and Lena Grant. Kerry was a homemaker who loved caring for her home and family. Kerry loved kids and there were always kids at home from family of friends. She taught and helped raise many children and even some of their children. Aunt Kerry, as she became known, will be missed by many.  She was a great cook and all who knew her had a favorite dish by her. A country girl at heart, she loved dirt roads and pickup trucks.  She loved her little dog Boo-Boo and enjoyed early morning coffee on the porch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Stuckey, three brothers, Don Grant, John Grant, and Neil Grant; and her first husband, Steve Royle.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Spears; a daughter, Stephanie John of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Damon Grant of North Carolina; a sister, Martha Purvis of Tifton, GA; a granddaughter, Malaya John; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The sun has set on the life of my beautiful lady, but the heavens have gained a bright new star.
