Lannie R Studdard

Lannie Ross Studdard, 71, of Buena Vista, Georgia, died Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Vista Care Hospice in Atlanta, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home in Buena Vista, Georgia. Reverend A. R. Curlee will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 PM.

Mr. Studdard was born September 20, 1940, in Marion County to Elijah and Tommie Frady Studdard. He was Baptist by faith and employed in manufacturing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Jerome and Eunice Studdard, Amos and Juanita Studdard, and Charles Studdard.

He is survived by his wife, Larry Taylor Studdard of Buena Vista; by two sons and daughters-in-law, Eric Lamar and Denise Studdard and Jason Ross and Nora Studdard all of Buena Vista; by a daughter, Michelle Leigh Studdard of Buena Vista; by a brother Mickey Studdard of Americus; by three sisters, Sue and Melvin McInnis of Americus, Jenny Koleszar of Americus, and Jeanette Hanner of Ashburn, GA; and by 4 grandchildren, Brittany and Chris Harris, Brodie Studdard, Dillon Studdard and Gabriel Tyler.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of arrangements.
