Larry Simmons

Mr. Larry Simmons, 65, of Macon, GA, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 in Buena Vista Cemetery at 11:00 AM.  The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. 

Mr. Simmons was born January 30, 1957 in Reynolds, GA to John Willis Simmons and Frances Jewell McDaniel Simmons.  He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and tinkering with his Dodge truck.  Mr. Simmons loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.  An avid ice cream lover, he liked Neopolitan the best.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Roy Simmons, Wilbur Simmons, and Carol Bloodworth. 

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Dustin & Danielle Simmons of Macon, GA; a granddaughter, Adilyn Simmons; three brothers, Ricky Simmons (Christy), Floyd Simmons, and Phil Simmons (Robin); four sisters, Lula Mae Simmons, Mary Frances Arnold, Connie McCord (Tony) and Fannie Cleveland (Carl); and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
