Lee Mentzer, Jr.

Mr. Gerald Lee Mentzer, Jr., 54, of Mauk, GA passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Parmer Cemetery. 

Mr. Mentzer was born January 3, 1967 in Columbus, Georgia to Gerald Lee Mentzer, Sr. and Carol Jean Sanders.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and exploring for artifacts. Mr. Mentzer loved his chickens and taking care of them.  He loved music and was learning to play the guitar.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Jean Sanders Mentzer.

Survivors include his wife, Angie Fuller Mentzer of Box Springs, GA; a son, Jeffrey Mentzer of Oregon; step-son, Jeremy Fryer; a step-daughter, Candice Fryer; two brothers, Billy Gluck and Richard Navas and three sisters, Terri Stephens, Lisa Navas and Kristie Sports.
