Lola H. Watson

Mrs. Lola H. Watson, 85, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, January 18, 2016, at Oakland Baptist Church.  A private burial will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Toomey, Will Kisor, Will Stillwell, T. C. Bodiford, Stephen Watson, and Jesse Mathis. The family will greet friends at Oakland Baptist Church on Monday, January 18, 2016, from 1:00pm-3:00pm before the service.

Mrs. Watson was born May 10, 1930, in Butler, GA, to Ed. A Waters and Lucille McGlamry. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and had been employed as the Office Manager for Top Quality Straw.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred D. Watson and by five brothers and one sister.

She is survived by four sons, Danny and Corriene Watson of Seale, AL, Donny and Dianne Watson of Tazewell, GA, Eddie Watson of Opelika, AL, and Bobby and Deana Watson of Valley, AL; by two daughters, Sandy and Stephen Watson of Box Springs, GA, and Vickie Williams of Mauk, GA; by three sisters, Lorene Weaver of Juniper, GA, Faye Coe of Ellaville, GA, and Audrey Forsyth of Tennessee; by 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. A special friend, Emma Stewart and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
