Lonnie Louis Wilson

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Lonnie Louis Wilson, age 69, died Friday, September 26, 2014, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, September 28, 2014, at Sand Bethel Cemetery in Taylor County, GA with Clayton Womack officiating.

Lonnie was born May 16, 1945, in Schley County, GA, to Roy and Marilu Colquitt Wilson.  He was Baptist by faith and a member of the NRA. He retired from the Schley County Road Department where he was the Maintenance Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Wilson of Ellaville, GA; three sons, Bryan and Sheila Wilson of Rupert, GA, Ken and Shannon Wilson of Ellaville, GA, and Benji and Candi Barrow of Butler, GA; a daughter, Bridgett Barrow of Butler, GA; a brother, Luther Wilson of Ellaville, GA; three sisters, Gloria Wilson of Ellaville, GA, Beth and Homer Roach of Leesburg, GA, and Avie Ann Benford of Ellaville, GA; six grandchildren, Hollie and Clayton Womack, Taylor Wilson, Alexis Wilson, Kaitlyn Barrow, Kilie Barrow, and Kinsley Barrow and one great-grandson, Abraham Womack.

Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA, is in charge of these arrangements.
