Ludmila Pavlovna Kataeff Forsyth, age 81, of Box Springs, GA, died Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014, at 2:00PM at Lakeview Full Gospel Church with Reverend J. D. Golden officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oakland Church of God Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Forsyth, Jeremy Tonkin, Jonathan Golden, Stanton Forsyth, Jim Golden, Chad Anthony, and Nathyn Forsyth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 7, 2014, from 6-8PM.
Mrs. Forsyth was born September 7, 1932, in Hokiado, Japan, to Paul and Seraphima Kataeff. She was a member of Lakeview Full Gospel Church and was a devoted Pastor’s wife and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Reverend Luke Forsyth of Box Springs, GA; by a son, Leonard Joseph Forsyth of Box Springs, GA; two daughters, Claudia Lynn & Jim Golden of Cleveland, TN, and Lana Antonina and Bishop Bob Moore of Carmichael, CA; by a sister, Claudia Bulow of San Mateo, CA; by six Grandchildren, David Forsyth, Jeremy Tonkin, Lacey Tonkin, Stanton Forsyth, Jonathan Golden, and Ashley Nolan Wilson; and by 10 Great-Grandchildren, Chad Anthony, Nathyn Forsyth, Logan Anthony, Emma Tonkin, James Tonkin, Jackson Grant, Karlee Forsyth, Jax Wilson, Maddox Wilson, and Lola Wilson.
Watson-Tante Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
