Lynne Ferrell Horne

Mrs. Lynne Ferrell Horne, 59, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at her residence. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, from 6:00-8:00pm at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Buena Vista, GA.

Mrs. Horne was born in Massey, AL, on January 2, 1961, to James Ezra and Bertie Fitzgerald Ferrell. She was employed at Spencer High School as the Attendance Clerk. Mrs. Horne was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She took care of all of the kids at Spencer and would help anybody if she was able. She was a member of the Ft. Perry Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Ferrell.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Horne, Jr. of Box Springs, GA; by children, Charles Horne, III of Ellaville, GA, Brian Ferrell (Jenny) of Phenix City, AL, Kevin Horne of Eufaula, AL, Toby Horne of Montgomery, AL, Michael Ferrell (Christi) of Pine Mountain, GA; daughters-in-law, Stephanie Horne, Brandy Thomas and Crystal Curbow; grandchildren, Sierra Barron (Michael), Katie Folds (Barrett), Alea Horne, Cameron Allen, Madison Aderhold, Jada Mazingo, Keagan Smith, Makayla Ferrell, Brianna Ferrell, Brayden Folds, Nicolas Miller; a great-grandchild, Jensen Folds; a sister, Margie Carmack of Valley, AL; a niece, Angie Horne; and a great-niece Skyler.
