MAJ (Ret.) William "Bill" L. Hagin, Jr.

MAJ (Ret.) William, “Bill” L. Hagin, Jr., of Buena Vista, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Columbus Hospice House.  Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 4:00PM in Buena Vista Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home, Buena Vista on Sunday afternoon from 4:00-6:00 PM.

MAJ Hagin was born May 1, 1946 in Tampa, FL to William L., Sr. and Agnes Lewis Hagin. 

Survivors include his wife, June Bentley Hagin of Buena Vista; four children, Elizabeth Hagin of Atlanta, GA, John Hagin and his wife, Mari-Beth, William L. Hagin, III and his wife, Tiffany, and Sara Zimmerman and her husband, Robbie, all of Buena Vista; eight grandchildren, Conner Hagin, Gracie-Rae Hagin, Jacob Hagin, Emma-Leigh Hagin, Amber Hagin, Liam Hagin, Eva Zimmerman, and Roland Zimmerman; two brothers, Greg Hagin and his wife, Robin of Locust Grove, GA and Randy Hagin and his wife, Sylvia of Bertram, TX; a sister, Beverly Anderes of Bertram, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Marion County Young Farmers, 1 Eagle Dr., Buena Vista, GA 31803.
