Margaret "Ann" Burton

Margaret “Ann” Burton, 56, of Ellaville, passed away on March 20, 2025, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville, with Rev. Johnny Brooks and Bro. Stephen Fripp officiating. Private burial for the family will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 2:00PM until service time. Pallbearers will be Brian Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Steve Burton, Chambliss Storey, Clay Greene and Joey Recker.

Ann was born January 27, 1969, in Americus, GA to the late James Edwin and Margaret Andrews Battle. She was a 1987 graduate of Southland Academy and was working with ABC Financial as an Escalated Supervisor. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Ann was a hard worker, and loved taking care of others, especially her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her husband, Kenny Burton of Ellaville; two sons, Dylan Bailey and his wife, Danielle of Ellaville and Brandan Bailey of Americus; a granddaughter, Charlee Hope Bailey; her sister, Jane Battle Johnson and her husband, Bobby of Ellaville; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Tiny, Bear, Jorga, and Jake.
