Mrs. Marion Pike Conley, 75, of Americus, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Conley was born July 11, 1943 to the late Russell Marion Pike and Janet Alford Pike in Grossepointe, MI. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Americus. Mrs. Conley was a published author and wrote many children's books. "Adventures of Lil Coco" was one of her published titles. She was a lover of animals, especially her dogs and horses.
Survivors include her loving husband, Vernon Conley of Americus; four sons, William Fender II and his wife, Ganine of Orlando, FL, Russell Fender of Winter Springs, FL, Jeffery Fender and his wife, Robyn of Winter Haven, FL and Christopher Fender and his wife, Shannon of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Tami Dicken and her husband, John of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, Ellis Pike of Lakeland, FL; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
