Marjory Greer

Mrs. Marjory Freddie Culpepper Greer, 93, of Cusseta, Georgia, died at her residence on Monday, July 14, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Chapel of the Pines in Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia, with Reverend Mark Hudson officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 5-7pm.

Mrs. Greer was born July 23, 1920, in Chattahoochee County, GA, to John Moley and Eva Morgan Culpepper. She was a resident of Chattahoochee County her entire life. Baptist by faith, she was a member of County Line Primitive Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and flowers and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Greer, a son, Larry Greer, one grandson, two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her children, Carol Greer, Kathy Greer, Ronnie Greer, and Richard Greer; by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
