Mary Frances Austin

Mrs. Mary Frances Austin, 91, of Buena Vista, Georgia, died Saturday, October 22, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 24, 2011 in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Reverend John Homer and Reverend David Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery in Cusseta, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, 1:00 - 2:00PM prior to the service.

Mrs. Austin was born February 16, 1920, in Chattahoochee Co., GA, to James Grover Culpepper and Ester Annie Morgan Culpepper. She was a homemaker and was a member of Buena Vista Union Methodist Church. Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Blanchard Austin, Sr. and one son, John D. Austin.

She is survived by one daughter and son in law, Fay and Milford McKenzie of Fort Valley, GA; two sons and daughters in law, Charles B and Martha Austin Jr of Buena Vista, GA, George A. and Cheryl Austin of Cochran, GA., one brother and sister in law, Jimmy and Freddie Mae Culpepper of Buena Vista, GA. Three grandchildren, Shelley Milford McKenzie and Elizabeth, George Keith Austin and Marion, Charles Michael Austin, five great grandchildren, Erron Austin, Tyler Austin, Ansleigh McKenzie, Lauren McKenzie, Bailey McKenzie also survive.

Pallbearers will include, Ronnie Sizemore, Tony Moore, Billy Joe Cabe, Ricky Carlan, Jimmy Culpepper, Jr., Erron Austin, Shelley McKenzie and Jack Culpepper.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home in Buena Vista, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
