Mary Jane Kanazawa

Ms. Mary Jane Greene Kanazawa, 72, of Oglethorpe, GA passed away on February 12, 2021 at Crisp Regional Medical Center in Cordele, GA.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, GA with Rev. Gene Simmons officiating. 

            Ms. Kanazawa was born April 23, 1948 in Montezuma, GA.  She was retired from International Paper as an accounting specialist after 40 years of service.  Her greatest joy in life was her two grandsons. From attending games, programs, or just playing Monopoly, Grandma was there. Always the rock for all her boys, sons included, her life was lived to the fullest. She also enjoyed travelling and visiting friends.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Morgan Greene, Jr. and Marlowe Greene.

            Survivors include her two sons, John Terry Kanazawa, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Richard Jason Kanazawa of Ellaville, GA; two grandsons, Richard Jacob Kanazawa and John Cooper Kanazawa; three sisters, Martha Ellen Tiencken and her husband, Ray of Reynolds, GA, Sue Barfield and her husband, Larry of Albany, GA, and Sally Clark of Marshallville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
