Mary Eva Nessamar

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Mary Eva Heath Nessamar, age 91, of Ellaville, GA died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Perfect Care in Americus, GA.  Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, November 5, 2012 in County Line United Methodist Church cemetery, in Schley County.  Rev. Mark Kinservik will officiate.

     Mrs. Nessamar was born June 12, 1921 in Schley County, GA the daughter of Charlie Heath and Mazie McLendon Heath.  She retired from the Sumter County School system where she was employed as the school food service director.  After retirement, Mrs. Nessamar owned her beloved bakery, “Country Maid Bakery” in Americus, GA, where she delighted in baking food that others enjoyed. Mrs. Nessamar was also a devoted mother with enduring love and a positive outlook on life.  Mrs. Nessamar was a member of County Line United Methodist Church.
      

     Mrs. Nessamar is survived by two daughters, Maxine Stribling and husband Bill of Americus, Mary Ann Dudley and husband Crawford of Americus; one daughter in law, Debbie Nessamar of Americus; six grandchildren, Erika Johnson and husband Bryce, William B. Stribling, Jr. and wife Christie, Jessi Wade and husband Zackary, Stuart Austin and wife Joanna, Amy Nessamar and Jake Nessamar; three great grandchildren, Camilla Wade, Anna Claire Wade and Reese Stribling.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nessamar was preceded in death by her husband, Max Frank Nessamar and a son, Laurence Andrew Nessamar.

     Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.  Memorials may be made to County Line United Methodist Church, 7361 SR 228, Ellaville, GA 31806.
