Maxine P. Bell

Ms. Maxine P. Bell, 85, of Cordele, passed away at Crisp Regional Hospital on February 18, 2023. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 3:00 PM in Ellaville City Cemetery with Bro. Troy Fripp officiating.

Ms. Bell was born on January 5, 1938 to the late John Seldon and Edith Fanny Parsons. Ms. Bell was retired as the office manager from Dr. Hester & Dr. Steinberg. She was also a sports writer of the Calhoun County Chronicle of West Virginia. She enjoyed staying busy. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Survivors include her two sons, Andy and his wife Angie Bell of Cordele, and Joshua and his wife Deana Bell of Whigham, GA.; a daughter, Tambree and her husband Randy Yoak of Grantsville, W.V.; six grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister Fern Swisher of W.V.; and a brother Denzil Parsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Bell; siblings, Don Parsons, James Parsons, Charles Parsons, Bonnie Adams, Donna Buie, Joanne Burwell, Lonnie Parsons, and Louise Parsons.
