Mr. Norman Ray Coe, 61, of Ellaville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA, with Rev. Clyde Grimsley officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00PM.

Ray was born in Columbus, GA, on June 24, 1963, to Otis Lamar and Linda Faye Waters Coe. He was a hard worker and a good provider. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Whether it was joking, cutting up, or dancing, Ray always had a good time. Over the years, he had a lot of accomplishments in his field of knowledge. A top-notch heavy equipment operator, he excelled at planning and building ponds. For over 20 years, he was the owner and operator of Ray Coe Services. He was employed with Covia as a Dryer Operator. Ray was an avid gardener and in his spare time he could often be found fishing and golfing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Coe.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Coe of Ellaville, GA; by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray Allen and Chloe Coe of Ellaville, GA, and Richard Lamar and Chelsea Coe of Box Springs, GA; by a brother, Scotty Lamar Coe; four sisters, Lisa Pearl Coe, Sheila Lucille Sears, Teresa Faye Ennis, and Janet Mae Coe; by his four grandchildren, Jackson Wyatt Coe, Maisie Laken Coe, Rae Ansleigh Coe, and Russell Lamar Coe; and two aunts, Lorene Weaver and Audrey Forsyth.

Way-Watson Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA, has been entrusted with these arrangements.
