Phil Henry Phillips

AMERICUS, GEORGIA – Mr. Phil Henry Phillips, 54, of Americus, Georgia passed away on June 3, 2014.  Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

Mr. Phillips was born August 18, 1959 in Athens, GA to Wayne Ashley Phillips and Johnelle Coley Phillips. He earned his Associate’s Degree in HVAC and worked in the industry for many years.  He was a member of Concord Methodist Church in Americus and an avid bass fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by Jan Phillips;  two sons, Nathan Henderson of Hiawassee, GA and Craig Henderson and a daughter, Michelle Henderson of Ellijay, GA; three brothers, John Eric Phillips of Jakin, GA, Victor Lee Phillips of Alma, GA and Steven Ashley Phillips of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Kasun Horvath, Meghan Presley and Tyler Henderson.
