Phillip B. Stuckey

Mr. Phillip B. Stuckey, 69, of Ellaville passed away at his home surrounded by his family on October 29, 2022.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Ellaville Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joel Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery.

Mr. Stuckey was born October 14, 1953 in Marion County, GA to Elmer and Mary Frances Jones Stuckey.  He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and stayed patriotic his whole life.  Mr. Stuckey was a member of Ellaville Baptist Church and loved the Bible and Jesus.  He enjoyed watching western movies, especially John Wayne.  He also liked fishing, cooking and most of all, eating.  Mr. Stuckey was a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, who will be missed dearly.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Stuckey.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Carla Stuckey; two children, Phillip E. Stuckey and his wife, Beth of Edna, TX and Amber J. Stuckey of Ellaville; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Lankford, Ian Stuckey, William Pund, Zoe Stuckey, Aidan Stuckey, and Seth Pund; five sisters, Willene Smith of Americus, GA, Gloria Crumpton of Americus, GA, Wynelle Holbrook of Cusseta, GA, Brenda Ingram of Americus, GA and Shirley Montgomery of Ellaville; special nieces, Angela Bryan and Tracy Cromer; special friends, Randy and Lavada Lankford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
