Randy Ray Cook

Randy Cook, 64, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 22, 2022, at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 6:00-8:00PM.

 Mr. Cook was born on November 12, 1957, to Norman Ray and Beatrice Covington Cook. A member of New Providence Baptist Church, he enjoyed gardening and yard work.  Mr. Cook never met a stranger because he knew everyone and talked to everyone. He loved to ride the golf cart with the dogs and was always joking around and picking on everyone.  A hard worker, Mr. Cook stayed busy around the house and yard doing projects.  Before his retirement, he was employed in maintenance with Boyd Management. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Tina Cook of Buena Vista, by six children, Randall and Amanda Cook, Brandy Kimbrell, Mandy Cook, Christopher and Amy Crew, Kesha and Anthony Aaron, and Kelli and Dewayne Brake; by two brothers, Don and Dorothy Cook and Jessie Cook; three sisters, Cecelia and Clifford Waller, Pam Cook, and Samantha and Jason Spigner; by his grandchildren Zoey Kimbrell, Haven Kimbrell, Maren Cook, Lily Cook, Dylan and Amber Brake, Gage Crew, Kaitlyn Aaron, Jordan Aaron, and Alaina Brake; and one great-grandchild, Remy Brake. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
