Raymond C Cooper Jr.

Raymond C. Cooper, Jr., 76, of Box Springs, GA, died Saturday, November 1, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Lakeview Full Gospel Church with Reverend Luke Forsyth officiating.

Mr. Cooper was born September 17, 1938, in Allenville, NY, to Raymond and Mary Cooper, Sr. He was Baptist by faith and was a member of Lakeview Full Gospel Church. He was employed at Midhouston as the head housekeeper. He was a member of the Gun and Fishing Club and the CSA.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his fiancé, Lisa Cowell of Box Springs, GA; by a son Raymond Cooper, III, of Buena Vista, GA; by four daughters, Margie Cooper Rampe of Campbell Hall, NY, Tina Cooper of Swan Lake, NY; Terri Wilke of Port Jervis, NY, and Jamie Bagatta of Box Springs, GA; two brothers, Michael Cooper of Bloomingburg, NY, and Tony Cooper of Middletown, NY; four sisters, Grace North of Ellenville, NY, Ethel Cooper of Otisville, NY, Linda Travis of Hurleyville, NY, and Patricia Margarum of Columbus, GA; Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of these arrangements.
