Raymond Leonard Folsom, Jr.

Mr. Raymond Leonard Folsom, Jr., 74, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Magnolia Manor of Marion County.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Louvale City Cemetery, Louvale, GA with Rev. Jerry Akin officiating. 

Mr. Folsom was born on May 11, 1942 to the late Raymond Leonard Folsom, Sr. and Clara Marie Parks Dennis in Pasadena, CA.  He was a longtime resident of Stewart and Marion counties. Mr. Folsom served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a Mason of the Cross Lodge #173. He retired in 2006 from Mead as a Heavy Equipment Operator, after many years of service.   He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Nann Folsom of Buena Vista, GA: four children, Lyle Mullis and her husband, Carl of Tomball, TX, Dorris Folsom of Atlanta, GA, James Folsom of Columbus, GA and Billy Folsom of Gainesville, GA; three grandchildren, Tiffany Mullis, Joe Mullis IV and Raymond Folsom; two sisters, Christine Warnick of Pierre, SD and Charlotte Fouty of Ypsilinti, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Louvale Cemetery Fund, c/o Sarah Richardson, 501 Old Louvale Rd., Lumpkin, GA 31815.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these arrangements.
