Reba Farrah Isom

Reba Farrah McDaniel Isom, 79, of, Buena Vista, GA, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2013, at 2:00 PM at New Providence Baptist Church with Reverend David Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow the service at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Isom was born March 22, 1934, in Dooly County, GA, to Jessie Augustus and Thelma Amanda Sangster McDaniel. She was Baptist by faith and had been living in Marion County most of her life. She was employed by the International Playtex Corporation as a seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Henry McDaniel.

She is survived by  her husband, Preston Isom of Buena Vista, GA; and by 5 five sisters, Vivian Ruth Crane of Butler, GA, Thelma Fausteen Teat of Butler, GA, Patricia Ann Whidby of Butler, GA, Doris Mildred Thomas of LaGrange, GA, and Imogene Albritton of Butler, GA. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these arrangements.
