Rebecca "Becky" Jane Theus

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Ms. Rebecca “Becky” Jane Theus, age 60, of Ellaville, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA.    A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Ellaville Cemetery.  Bro. Troy Fripp will officiate.

      Ms. Theus was born March 11, 1957 in Columbus, GA, the daughter the late Wallace and Janie Theus.  She graduated from Southland Academy and had been employed as a cashier at Piggly Wiggly and has a secretary at Barrow Propane.  Ms. Theus lived life to its fullest and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She considered her daughter her greatest achievement and loved her dearly.

      Survivors include her life partner, Michael Ellis of Ellaville; daughter, Brittney Ellis of Carrollton, GA; son, Damion Ellis and wife Sarah of Leesburg, GA; one sister, Sue Theus Martin and husband Bob of Buford, GA.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Andrew Ellis and Zachary Ellis; two nephews, Sidney Theus and Chris Theus; one niece Dawn Peeples and one sister in law, Marie Pevler.  In addition to her parents Ms. Theus was preceded in death by her brother, Wallace Harold Theus.

         Pallbearers will include Sid Theus, Chris Theus, Damion Ellis and Andrew Ellis.

        Visitation will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
