Richard Adams

Mr. Richard Adams, 53, of Woodland, GA, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Piedmont Regional Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA. A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at New Life Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Fuller officiating. The family will greet friends in the fellowship hall of the church beginning at 1:00PM until service time.  Due to Covid-19, face coverings are strongly encouraged and please practice social distancing.

Mr. Adams was born August 30, 1967, to Henry James and Maude Fortson Adams. He was a very talented artist and lifelong carpenter.  He used his artistic talents to create intricate wood creations.  He was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Bentley Adams, Sonya Ellis, Mike Adams, Ken Adams, Gregory Adams, Allen Adams, Henry Adams, and Karen Charney.

He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Adams; by his sisters Pam and Billy Joe Waller and Cynthia Bailey all of Buena Vista, GA; by a grandchild Scarlett and by numerous nieces and nephews.
