Richard Louie Holloway

Richard Louie Holloway, 90, died on September 5, 2016 in Sylvia, North Carolina attended by his family. Louie was a native of Schley County Ga. After serving in WWII he worked as a farmer and rural letter carrier. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Osborne Holloway, his parents Ed Lee Holloway and Molly Robinson Holloway, two sisters Lillie Jones and Mildred Hite and two brothers Edward Holloway and Earl Holloway.

He is survived by a daughter Harriet Holloway and son-in-law Michael Swords of Franklin, North Carolina; two sons, Bill Stribling and wife Maxine of Americus, Georgia and Jim Henderson and wife Karen of Cookeville, Tennessee; Two grandsons, Brad Stribling and Michael Swords II and three granddaughters, Cynthia Henderson, Erika Johnson and Laura Henderson as well as great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial will be held at Ellaville City Cemetery on October 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm.

Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville is in charge of the services.
