Robert Albert Frantz

Mr. Robert “Bob” Albert Frantz, 96, of Ellaville, peacefully and quietly slipped life’s earthly bounds on September 7, 2024. Bob, a former resident of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, and Naples, Florida, was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on November 25, 1927, and grew up in the Weissport/Leighton, Pennsylvania, areas. Interment will be with his Liebe Barbara in the Columbarium of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Boone, North Carolina.

Bob was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Lydia Frantz. Bob was a graduate of Lehighton High School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; an army veteran, WWII, serving in France and Germany. He is survived by cousins and long-time friends, Hugh and Billie Wall and Lamar and Theresa Wilson of Ellaville, Georgia, and his many German friends.
