Rosa Lee Wainwright

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Rosa Lee Wainwright, age 67, of Americus, GA died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.  Funeral Services will be held graveside at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2013 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.  Reverend Andy Hines will officiate.

     Mrs. Wainwright was born February 11, 1946 in Sumter County, GA, the daughter of John Edmond Holt and Kate Lou Harris Holt.  She was a nurse’s aide at Magnolia Manor.  Mrs. Wainwright was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.

   Survivors include her husband, Floyd Wainwright of Americus; two sons, George Harrington of Americus, John Marcus Pritchard and wife Tina Jean of Americus; three daughters, Cloie Wilson of Americus, Norma Jean Hogg and husband David Arthur of Americus, Marcie Diana McSpadden of Americus; three brothers, Tommy Lee Holt of Americus, Melvin Holt of Montezuma, GA, Ralph Holt of Calhoun, GA; and one sister, Mary Catherine Thompson of Covington, GA.  Fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wainwright was preceded in death by three brothers, William Henry Holt, Willie Eugene Holt, John Holt, Jr., and one sister, Gussie Holt.

     Pallbearers will include Chris Hale, Tanner McSpadden, Chad Smith, Mark Wilson, Jacob Pritchard, Julian Myars, and Waylon Garcia.

     Visitation will be held Saturday evening, March 2, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
