Rose Lee Dillard

Ellavillea€"Funeral Services for Rose Lee Kuhn Dillard 81, of Sarasota, Florida will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville with burial at Andersonville National Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Kinservik officiating.



Mrs. Dillard died Tuesday in Temple, TX after suffering a massive stoke Monday morning.



Mrs. Dillard was born in Rosebud, TX. to Frank Kuhn and Rose Schuetze Kuhn. She graduated from Rosebud High School. She married Hilyard B Dillard of Andersonville Georgia October 2, 1946. He preceded her in death after 50 years of marriage. Mrs. Dillard lived in Rosebud until 1964 at which time the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1998 she moved to Sarasota, Florida. She had been a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Rosebud. She worked in Data Processing at Firemens Fund Insurance Company in Atlanta until her retirement.



Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Dillard, Captain, U.S. Navy, of Tampa, FL; niece, Suzanne Strayer of Fort Worth, TX; great niece, Michelle Stahen of Forth Worth, TX; nephew, Larry Dillard of Ellaville, GA; sister-in-law, Barbara Justice of Chattanooga, TN; nephew, Steve Justice of Trenton, GA, niece, Candi Jeffery of Collierville, IN; nephew-in-law Sammy Lee of Andersonville, GA; numerous cousins and other family and friends, including "Adopted Familya€? Nancy and Bill Sunday and Terrell and Carol Hart.



In lieu of flowers, her family request for you to call a loved one and invite them to lunch. Enjoy the living and leave this world with no regrets. You may also make a donation to a favorite charity.
