Rose A. Huff

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Rose A. Huff, age 53, of Americus, GA died Wednesday evening, June 19, 2013 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, 4:00 PM, June 22, 2013 in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home.

      Mrs. Huff was born August 26, 1959 in Sumter County, GA, the daughter of the late Arthur Boyette Allison and the late Martha H. Allison.  She worked as a secretary at Williams Office Supply. Mrs. Huff loved gardening and animals.  She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

   Survivors include her husband, Emory Huff; one son, Jonathan McCraig Wallace of Warner Robins, GA; three sisters, Penny Smith of Americus, Martha Ann Coe of Bronwood, GA, Cathy Ricard of Americus; and one brother, Stephen Allison of Americus.  Also surviving are four granddogs. 

     Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.  The family will also receive friends at 327 Myrtle Springs Road, Americus.

     In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd., Americus, GA  31719.
