Mr. Ruble Lewis Youngblood, Jr., 58, of Box Springs, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at is residence. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1:00PM in Bethany Cemetery with Rev. Michael Toomey officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Mr. Youngblood was born in Columbus, GA, on January 4, 1966, to Ruble Lewis Youngblood, Sr. and Martha Murphy Youngblood. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting turkey and deer. Mr. Youngblood also enjoyed working on cars. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Mr. Youngblood attended Bethany Freewill Baptist Church with his parents. He worked in construction for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Lynn Fuller Youngblood, by his maternal grandmother, Julia Ford, and by his paternal grandparents, A. J. and Leona Youngblood.
He is survived by his children, Dustin Youngblood, Cody Youngblood, Zach Cooper, Tracy Taylor and her husband Corey, and Chad Peavy; by his sister, Anita Youngblood Wells and her husband, Keith; twelve grandchildren, Catie Youngblood, Emma Grace Youngblood, Kiley Youngblood, Athena Gordon, Zach Cooper, Garrett Cooper, Blake Cooper, Austin Taylor, Dylan Taylor, Kaylee Taylor, Hannah Peavy, and Natalie Rose; and by his companion Lisa Lawson.
The family is invited to a meal after the service at The Bethany, formerly Bethany Freewill Baptist Church.
