Samuel Lloyd Hudson

Mr. Samuel Lloyd Hudson, 68, of Cusseta, GA, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, at Pruitt Health in Ashburn, GA. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Cusseta, GA, with Rev. Robert McDaniel officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside beginning at 1:00PM until service time.

Mr. Hudson was born December 6, 1955, in Richland, GA, to Charlie Sam and Vivian Claire Martin Hudson. He was a carpenter and worked at Ft. Benning as a contractor. An outgoing person, Mr. Hudson talked to everybody. He loved walking, especially exploring Ft. Benning.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved children and dogs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Gardner, and two nephews, Paul Breland and Sam Breland.

He is survived by his brother, James “Tom” Hudson, a sister, Patricia Breland; a brother-in-law, Gary Gardner all of Cusseta, GA; a nephew, David Hudson; two nieces, Tammy Carden and Sandy Sproles; great-nieces and nephews, Ashley Hoy, Paul Breland, Amanda Terry, Christopher Carden, Viviana Sproles, Bella Sproles, and Sham Sproles; and five great-great nieces and nephews.
