Sandra Tyler

Sandra Tyler, 69, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Tyler was born in Huntsville, AL, on April 25, 1952, to Jack Lee and Violet Gold Fryer. She was a former County Commissioner of Marion County and had worked alongside her husband, J. C. “Bud” Tyler at the Oakland IGA. Mrs. Tyler had also owned a car lot and ran Sandy’s Café. She enjoyed fishing and feeding the ducks at her son’s pond. Mrs. Tyler loved her dogs, Millie and Scooter and her cat, Shadow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. “Bud” Tyler and a brother, Ronnie Fryer.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rus and Christine Tyler of Perry, GA, and Jeff and Carolyn Tyler of Box Springs, GA; by her grandchildren, Natalie Tyler, Jade Tyler, Payton Tyler, Gabby Tyler, and A. J. Tyler; by her great-grandchildren, Marley Owens and Lily Owens and a niece Caesi Williamson.
