Sandra Kay Wilson

Mrs. Sandra Kay Smith Wilson, 72, of Americus, Ga passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Harbort officiating. Pallbearers will be Jake McCook, Blake Williamson, Toby Daniels, Robbie Underwood, Donald Waldron, and Tim Welch.   The family will greet friends at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Mrs. Wilson was born November 7, 1946 in Sumter County to the late Marvin E.  and Katie Hendrick Smith. She was a graduate of Americus High School and attended Georgia Southwestern University, and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She worked as the office manager at Wilson Automotive Service alongside her husband. Mrs. Wilson was a social butterfly and loved planning gatherings, especially with her family.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Underwood.                                                                  

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Johnny Wilson of Americus, GA; two daughters, Terri Williamson and her companion, Toby Douglas Daniels of Americus and Michelle Underwood and her husband, Robbie of Ellaville; three grandchildren, Jake (Lauren Barfield) McCook, Blake (Tiffany) Williamson and Ben (Crystal) Williamson; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Williamson, and Alex Underwood.
