Sarah Pauline Griff

     ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mrs. Sarah Pauline Griff, age 53, of Ellaville, GA died Sunday evening, March 16, 2014 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Cliff Braxton will officiate.

      Mrs. Griff was born May 13, 1960 in Fitzgerald, GA, the daughter of Dorothy Hall of Midville, GA and the late Lowen Luke.   She had worked at Florida Specialties and was a certified nursing assistant.  Mrs. Griff was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with the grandchildren.  She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and loved country music.

      In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Frank Griff of Ellaville; two sons, Frank Griff, Jr. and wife Gina of Ellaville, Jeffery Griff and wife Cecilia of Americus; three daughters, Carrie Griff of Albany, GA, Angie Menard and husband Jason of Ellaville, Jessica Littleton and husband Nick of West Palm Beach, FL; three sisters, Janice Young of Fitzgerald, GA, Jennette Saia and husband Jake of Plains, GA, Anna McDonald and husband Brian of Wellborn, FL.  Also surviving are ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Griff was preceded in death by her father, Lowen Luke and step-mother, Merle Luke

       Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home.
