Sarah Rebecca Roberts

Mrs. Sarah Rebecca “Becky” Roberts, 80, passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 10, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, in the Chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home with Rev. David Chapman officiating.  The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 5:00-7:00PM.

Mrs. Roberts was born October 25, 1937 to the late Cecil Forrest Woods and Madeline McCoy Woods in Columbus, GA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buena Vista and loved spending time at the community center and playing Bingo and games.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Graham Roberts.

Survivors include her three sons, Richard Timothy Roberts and his wife, Deanna of Valdosta, GA, William Daniel Roberts of Nashville, TN, and John Michael Roberts and companion, Molly Smith of Ideal, GA; two brothers, Cecil F. Woods, Jr. of Panama City, FL and Harold Woods of Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Buena Vista Senior Citizens Center, 119 Baker St., Buena Vista, GA 31803.
