Shannon Keith Green

Shannon Keith Green, 33, of Mauk, GA, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Miona Geriatric and Dementia Center in Ideal, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Oakland Church of God with Reverend A. R. Curlee and Reverend Sidney Jones officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Hendrix, Paul Green, Bob Muller, Barney Teate, Justin Cook, and Chad Teate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 16, 2012, from 6-8 pm.

Mr. Green was born December 17, 1978, in Columbus, GA, to the late Leonard David Green and Elaine Teate Green. He attended Oakland Church of God. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Grady E. Green of Pell City, AL; and by his maternal grandparents, Melvin E. and Willie Mae Teate of Mauk, GA.

He is survived by his mother, Elaine Green of Mauk, GA; by his wife, Jennifer Tomlin Green of Butler, GA; by two sons, Justin Green of Butler, GA, and Zackary Goolsby of TN; by a brother, Edward Earl Green of Mauk, GA; by his paternal grandmother, Wenona Green of Pell City, AL; by his grandparents-in-law, Tommie E. and Shirley Tomlin of Columbus, GA; and by several Uncles and Aunts.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, was in charge of these arrangements.
