Shirley Jo Eason

Ms. Shirley Jo Eason, 72, of Bremen, GA passed away in Carrollton, GA on April 27, 2023.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville at 2:00 PM with Mr. Chuck Pless officiating.  The family will greet friends prior to the service at 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery. 

Ms. Eason was born July 12, 1950 in Americus, GA to Thomas Eugene and Betty Dozier Eason.  She was retired from Piedmont as a Senior Systems Analyst after many years of service.  Ms. Eason had an unconditional love for her family and enjoyed simple things as long as her family was involved. 

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Huey and her husband, Joey of Bremen, GA; a son, Ronald Phillips, Jr. of Columbus, GA; a brother, Tony Eason of Perry, GA; two sisters, Gail Lanford and her husband, Bob of Gray, GA and Debbie Suddeth and her husband, Mike of Cobb, GA; two grandchildren, John Thomas Huey (Megan) and Ashley Weatherford (Seth); four great-grandchildren, Addisyn Huey, Riley Huey, Audrey Weatherford and William Blake Weatherford.
