Shirley Ann Miller

Mrs. Shirley Ann Miller, 80, of Box Springs, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.  Graveside services will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rose Lane Cemetery with Rev. David Chapman officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. 

Mrs. Miller was born on June 24, 1940 in Clover, SC to the late Cleaston and Mildred Doby Cole.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed a good cup of coffee.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Marvin Miller, Sr.

Survivors include her son, Marvin “Gene” Miller, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Summerville, GA; a step-son, Charles Allen and his wife, Andi of Augusta, AR; a brother, Jerry Cole and his wife, Millie of Menifee, CA; two sisters, Brenda Sparks of Box Springs, GA and Bobbie Jean Smith and her husband, Steve of Gastonia, NC; seven grandchildren, Amber Chafin, Tosha Miller, Hunter Lee Miller (Mickayla), Charles Allen, Tamara Allen, Heather Allen and Bobby Harper, Jr.; fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been entrusted with these arrangements.
