Simon Nathaniel Culp

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Simon Nathaniel Culp, age 25, of Macon, GA died Sunday, April 15, 2012. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Ellaville Cemetery. Dr. Ben Foxworth will officiate.

Mr. Culp was born April 20, 1986 in Chattahoochee County, GA, the son of Colleen Johnson Crowder of Panama City Beach, FL and John Henry Cooper of Lake City, FL. He worked at Plant Scherer for the Zachry Company. Mr. Culp was baptized in the Catholic Church.

Survivors, in addition to his mother and father, include his stepfather, Randy Culp of West Farmington, OH; one son, Eli Nathaniel Culp of Ellaville; two daughters, Chassidy Ann Culp, Bentlie Grace Culp both of Ellaville; six brothers, Nicholas Charles Culp, George Robert Cooper both of Ellaville, Jonathan Kyle Cooper of Americus, GA, Jakob Dylan Cooper, Blake Burkett both of Panama City Beach, FL; Chris Frank of Daytona Beach, FL; four sisters, Skyler Memphis Cooper, Elizabeth Culp and Sara Culp all of Panama City Beach, FL, Brandy Spencer of Leavittsburg, OH; his grandmother, Florence Sumpter of Newton Falls, OH; his companion and mother of his child Bentlie, Samantha Edwards. Also surviving is the mother of Chassidy and Eli, Ashley Culp.

Pallbearers will include Brannon Landress, Bubba Stubbs, Nick Culp, Robbie Cooper, Kyle Cooper and Chad Landress. Honorary pallbearers are Blake Burkett and Dylan Cooper.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA.
