Steven Scott Berger

Mr. Steven Scott Berger, 57, of Cusseta, GA, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 22, 2015.  A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at 2:00pm at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

Mr. Berger was born February 26, 1958, in Manhattan, NY, to Gus and Nellie Springer Berger.  He served in the U. S. Navy and had been employed as a Maintenance Supervisor with Motel 6. Mr. Berger was an avid Yankees fan and loved Elvis Presley. He was full of life with a heart of gold and loved to dance.

He is survived by his father, Gus Berger, his mother, Nellie Springer Berger, his fiancé Angie Pennington of Cusseta, GA; two sons, Aaron Clinebell (Melissa Flynn) of Ohio and Zachary Berger of Cusseta, GA; a daughter, Alissa Clinebell of Holiday, FL; two brothers, Marc Berger (Mimi) of New York, NY, and Mel Berger of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Alexander Clinebell, Robert Dow, Zayne Collins, Peyton Sullivan, Aiden “AJ” Sullivan, and Skyler Sullivan.
