Steven Thomas "Steve" Bullock

Mr. Steven Thomas “Steve” Bullock, 77, of Ellaville, GA passed away on February 11, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 2:00PM in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 38 US Hwy 19 N., Ellaville with Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Lewis, J.C. Albritton, Mike Blackston, Dwayne Blackston, Zack Bullock and Miguel Lopez. The family will greet friends at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00PM. 

Mr. Bullock was born January 25, 1948, in Macon, GA to Luther Gordon and Alma Ruth Phillips Bullock. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War in Germany. Mr. Bullock was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was also a mason and member of the Washington Lodge #359 and the Marion Lodge #14, as well as Past Master of Washington Lodge #359 and Past Master of the Third Masonic District. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Larry Raybon and Joseph Poole.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Bullock of Ellaville; two sons, Steven Kyle Bullock and his wife, Dawn of Ellaville and Kenny Hayes and his wife, Kim of Kathleen, GA; five daughters, Shana Mae Bullock of Friendsville, TN, Amanda Poole of Americus, GA, Sharon Hayes of Ellaville, Vicky Blackston and her husband, Dwayne of Thomaston, GA, and Angela Jones and her husband, Sims of Americus, GA; a brother, Stanley W. “Butch” Bullock and his wife, Ilean of Ellaville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
