Terry M. Taylor

Mr. Terry M. Taylor, 64, of Buena Vista, GA passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 20, 2014.  A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in the chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with Rev. John Sheely officiating.  The family will greet friends at 10:00 AM until service time.

Mr. Taylor was born to Perry Taylor and Betty Bowers Taylor in Lancaster, SC.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Vietnam and was retired from the United States Postal Service after over 30 years of service. Mr. Taylor enjoyed the outdoors, working with his garden and wood working.  He loved spending time with his family, but the time he spent with his grandchildren was most precious.  Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his father, Perry Taylor and a sister, Sharon Taylor.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Taylor of Buena Vista; his mother, Betty Taylor of Lancaster, SC; a son, Corey Taylor and his wife, Amethyst of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, Kelly Wilmer and her husband, Derek of Ellaville, GA; six grandchildren, Taylor Grace Hart, Carson Hart, Gage Wilmer, Arden Taylor, Cade Taylor and one on the way; and a brother, Glenn Taylor and his wife, Betty Sue of Lancaster, SC. 

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia, is in charge of these arrangements.
